It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the beautiful University of Padua (about 10 miles west of Venice) in Italy, for this great workshop on biomarkers and biogenesis of extracellular vesicles (EVs).
This workshop is the result of a relatively newly born collaboration between a veterinary pathologist group in Padua led by Valentina Zappulli (Full Professor, Dept. of Comparative Biomedicine and Food Science) and the amazing group led by Xandra O. Breakefield (Professor at Department of Neurology, Neuroscience Center, Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA) in close professional partnership with an EV expert, Leonora Balaj (Neurosurgery Department, Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA).
Thank you to the extraordinary expertise of both Xandra O. Breakefield and Leonora Balaj in this field we will discuss and review the most recent advancements in the EV field together with a team of world renowned scientist and experts from the EV field.
The opening ceremony will host a plenary lecture by Xandra Breakefield at the beautiful historical Aula Magna at the University of Padua.
